The CZ 75 Compact uses the same DA/SA action as the full-size CZ 75, meaning you have a choice of how you carry it. You can carry it hammer-back with the safety on for a single-action first shot, or decock it manually for a double-action pull. Because it keeps the steel frame, the weight difference is just over 2 pounds lighter than the full-size, which makes it a softer shooting compact.
