Returns Policy

Firearms Alabama accepts returns on unfired firearms within 14 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below. We want you to be fully satisfied with every purchase.

1. Return Window

You have 14 calendar days from the date you take possession of your firearm at your FFL to initiate a return. Requests received after 14 days cannot be accepted.

2. Conditions for Return

  • Unfired only. Firearms that show evidence of being fired, cleaned, disassembled, or modified are NOT returnable.
  • Product must be in original manufacturer packaging with all documentation, accessories, and serial-numbered components.
  • Ammunition, reloading components, magazines that have been used, optics that have been mounted, and hazmat items are not returnable under federal regulations.
  • Special orders, custom engraved, and clearance items are final sale.

3. How to Return

  1. Email us first at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return. Do not ship anything before getting a Return Authorization (RA).
  2. We will issue an RA number and shipping instructions within 1 business day.
  3. Ship the firearm back through a licensed FFL dealer (required by federal law — you cannot ship a firearm directly as a private individual to us).
  4. Upon receipt and inspection, we issue a refund within 5 business days.

4. Restocking Fee

A 15% restocking fee applies to returned firearms to cover inspection, repackaging, and FFL transfer costs. The restocking fee is waived if we shipped the wrong product or the firearm arrived defective.

5. Return Shipping

Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error (wrong product, defective item). We recommend insured shipping with tracking. Firearms Alabama is not responsible for firearms lost in return transit.

6. Defective Firearms

If your firearm has a manufacturer defect, contact us immediately. Most manufacturers handle warranty claims directly and will repair or replace defective firearms at no cost. We will help you with the warranty process.
