Mossberg International small-gauge autoloaders are known for being light-shooting and effective in the field. Two hunting models have been added to the SA Series, available chambered in .410 bore for the first time.

.410 Ammunition Effectiveness: Advancements using tungsten shot have resulted in tight, effective patterns for turkey and wingshooting in the .410 platform. Tungsten shot is 56% denser by weight than lead, and significantly higher pellet counts bring more penetration to greater distances in the field, and in the skies.
