Browning’s Citori is more than a shotgun, it is the quintessential representative of the quality of the Browning brand. The action components are machined to exacting tolerances, heat-treated for greater strength and fitted using the traditional lampblack-and-file method to ensure precise fitting. It utilizes a transverse-mounted, full-width tapered locking bolt, which engages a full-width tapered recess in the rear barrel lugs. The Citori also has a chrome-plated chamber. The Citori 725 is the evolution of John M. Browning’s legendary B25 Superposed, but with the modern performance advantage of a low-profile receiver. The receiver is significantly lower than other Citori 12 gauge receivers, yet it shares the renowned durability of generations of Citori over and unders with the same rugged full-width hinge pin and tapered locking bolt design. The total barrel dynamics increases bore diameter specifications, while the tapered Vector Pro dimensions minimize shot deformation. The Citori 725 also has a Fire Lite Mechanical trigger, Inflex II technology, and hinge pin which extend the full width of the receiver for maximum strength.
